That’s why our Salt Lake City office was honored to be a hole sponsor at the recent Normal Jones Golf Tournament, benefiting the School of Accounting and Taxation at Weber State University.
About the Tournament
This special event is held in memory of Normal Jones, a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer who retired in 1994 and later pursued his passion for accounting at Weber State University. After earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting and Taxation, Normal’s life was tragically cut short in 2001 due to complications from exposure to Agent Orange. His legacy lives on through the Normal Jones Scholarship, established by his wife, Sue, to support students pursuing careers in accounting and taxation.
As a proud hole sponsor, Haynie & Company was thrilled to join fellow supporters, faculty, alumni, and students in celebrating Normal’s legacy while raising funds for scholarships that make a real difference in students’ lives.
